Product Description Master the art of flipping with KIRSTEN KEMP, host of the hit TV show Property Ladder! "This book establishes a new standard for real estate authors. Kemp gives her readers delightfully written prose packed with her wealth of experiences. She lays out so many profit-generating (and loss-avoiding) ideas that while reading the manuscript my highlighter never got a rest." —Gary Eldred, Trump University Professor of Real Estate, coauthor of the bestseller Investing in Real Estate Real estate isn't just for the rich! Read Only If You Know Nothing About Real Estate July 8, 2010 Mike55 1.This book was written during the real estate boom, a caution for everyone that is looking to learn about real estate investing.
2. Very, very basic
3. The title is very deceiving...the book DOES NOT give details on how to make profit in any market. It tells you what she has done in the hottest real estate market in history.
Fairly informative, better books out there. October 14, 2009 James Cunningham (Spring, Tx United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This was a quick and easy read, somewhat informative but not much that you have not seen on her television program (which I thoroughly enjoy).
I had purchased this book at the same time as "Flip: how to find, fix, and sell houses for profit "which I found much more informative if you were seriously considering something like this as a carrier or an adventure. `Flip' is almost more like a textbook on how to flip houses, though it is not grueling like a textbook, it is easy to read.
Flipping Confidential April 23, 2009 DEAN SELLER (WORCESTER, MA United States) This is a very concise book and to the point tells you what you need to know, and how to set things in to action a step by step account of what you need to do where to get financial help, and what not to do
Good but for beginners only October 21, 2008 N. Perz (St. Louis) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
FC is not particularly in-depth but it's a good primer for anyone considering making the move into flipping. It's certainly better than most of the other books I've read on the subject. Good but for beginners only.
Great for Flipping Beginners August 23, 2008 T-Mogul (Los Angeles, CA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Before reading Kirsten Kemp's Flipping Confidential, everything I knew about flipping I learned on TV. Thankfully, I didn't run out and buy property based on that exposure alone.
In Flippng Confidential, Kemp lays out the process of finding and flipping homes in a well-organized, no-nonsense manner.
While I found the book to be a good primer on the subject, there's only so much you can say in one book and it is lacking specifics in many areas. If you've never read any books on the subject, start with this book first. If you still want to flip after reading, expect that you have to go elsewhere for more in-depth information.
